MU'S GREEK WIDE EVENTS
Each year, Alpha Phi participates in a number of philanthropic events. Whether we're dancing for 13.1 hours for MizzouThon or helping to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis for RAMS (Alpha Phi placed 2nd!), Omicron loves to get involved in our campus philanthropy events. We have taken our involvement with MizzouThon to the next level by participating in their Adopt-A-Family program. This means we are paired with our amazing miracle child Declan and his family! Declan is a young boy who has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, but this doesn’t stop him from smiling as well as getting everyone to smile that he comes into contact with! This year at Mizzouthon, we were the third top fundraiser!
On top of the campus philanthropic events, Omicron also participates in a number of our Greek community’s philanthropic events such as Sigma Chi's Derby Days, Phi Kappa Alpha’s Pikestock, Delta Sigma Phi’s Dog Days, Chi Omega’s Wish Week, and Phi Kappa Theta’s Greek Gauntlet - just to name a few!
